高山流水

刘禹锡在连州工作生活将近5年的时间，5年当中他在连州兴学重教，开启了连州一代文风。同时他也深深爱上了连州如画的山水，著有多首赞美连州的诗篇。眼前的景象就形似刘禹锡面对高山流水慷慨吟诗“剡溪若问连州事，唯有青山画不如”的情景。为了纪念刘禹锡对连州历史作出的贡献，把这幅景称为“高山流水禹锡吟诗”。

Liu Yuxi worked and lived in Lianzhou for nearly five years, during which he promoted education and initiated a cultural legacy in Lianzhou. He also fell in love with the picturesque landscape of Lianzhou, composing numerous poems praising it. The scene before you resembles Liu Yuxi standing before majestic mountains and flowing water, reciting his poem, "if my relatives and friends ask me about my situation in Lianzhou, I think the thousand mountains in Lianzhou are even more beautiful than paintings." To commemorate Liu Yuxi's contributions to Lianzhou's history, this scenery is titled "Liu Yuxi Reciting Poetry Amidst High Mountains and Flowing Water."
